libmeep-lam4-6 software package provides library for using parallel (OpenMPI) version of meep, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmeep-lam4-6
libmeep-lam4-6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmeep-lam4-6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmeep-lam4-6 *
You will get with libmeep-lam4-6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
